Joinery that carries the brand

Generated photography and a proposed scope. This study is not evidence of completed Studio Apex work; the outcomes below are design objectives, not measured results.

THE BRIEF

A clear ambition.

Design a boutique retail gallery with an intimate dining room beyond, where display joinery, counter and lighting do the branding rather than signage.

The challenge.

Balance merchandise display, service requirements and an evening dining atmosphere in one continuous space with limited storage.

A coordinated response.

Run dark stained timber joinery with brass trim as a single wall condition, backlit to carry display and glassware, then set a stone counter and dining table as sculptural elements. Lighting scenes are coordinated with the operator so the room shifts through the day.

A CONSIDERED PALETTE

Backlit display shelving

Lit joinery bays with concealed wiring and ventilation.
